Men and women can be exposed to the same things. They may have totally different feelings about them. A male may be excited when he sees a new Husqvarna chainsaw. A female may be more concerned about the possibility of injury, to appreciate it.
Women may be taken with new round dining room sets. They may picture the possibility of beautifying their house. A man may look at the set and see a place to eat. This does not mean that one person is right and the other is wrong. They just see them from a different point of view.

Women are more interested in color and design. For thousands of years, they have to be aware of everything around them. They do not have the luxury of tunnel vision that males have. They may have to pick berries and watch over children at the same time. If you get the wrong color fruit or plant, it could be a fatal error.

Some of the differences between men and women come from our ancestors. There is little one can do about that. However, if you recognize the differences, you may understand the other sex, a little better. Suppose a man is out with his wife, shopping for beds. He may not be interested in color and shape.
